My chapter in the book “La dissociazione nella costruzione della realtà”

I am honoured to have contributed, together with some of the most renowned trauma and dissociation experts in Italy, to the creation of this book on dissociation. My chapter – dissociation and sexuality – focuses on a topic rarely discussed, both in the psychotraumatology world and in sexology: the psychological, relational and sexual implications of childhood sexual traumas in adults. How body and mind can react to such traumas? And how can clinicians treat trauma-related difficulties? I tried to sum it up in 12 pages and, considering the amount of information I could have easily given, it hasn’t been easy!
